Vintage 1981 Tiffany & Co. Elsa Peretti Horse Whip Necklace Silk & Silver

This extremely rare piece designed by Elsa Peretti features a beautiful silk braided "horse whip", tassel, and a sterling silver nugget used as the toggle. It fits like a collar around the neck for a modern sleek look yet still so comfortable.

condition: excellent vintage condition. For being from 1981, this piece couldn't look better. There is some minor fraying on silk by the nugget probably from someone trying to read the hallmarks which are almost hidden behind the knot that holds the silver piece to the silk.
